PuTTY and its related tools are a free version of Telnet and SSH for windows. \u00a0It has been available since 1999 and I have heard about it since way back then, but I haven’t had a real need for it until just recently. \u00a0I used to use the SSH Secure Shell commercial client, but since that is technically not free to use for non-commercial use I decided to switch.<\/p>\n
