I added and pushed a bunch of files into my repository, but now I need to put it into a subfolder.<\/p>\n

Git is smart and will find the files you moved. \u00a0Do the following:<\/p>\n
$ mkdir newFolder
\n$ mv oldFolder newFolder
\n$ git rm -r oldFolder
\n$ git add newFolder<\/p>\n
